health & safety
Our conventions team continues wanting to provide the best experience possible when attending our events like the Scranton Comic Con, Williamsport Comic Con, and others. The Pandemic has caused much worry, anxiety, and stress for all of us. Our mission is to continue having events where everyone can forget their worries and enter a world full of comic delight.
Our team is consistently reviewing the Pennsylvania State health and safety guidelines in accordance with public health recommendations and in collaboration with other event organizers and venue partners. We will continue to update our rules and recommendations for SCC 2022 as needed. Make sure to continue checking this page for the most up-to-date guidelines!

OUR RULES & REQUIREMENTS:
- STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK (even with a common cold or flu) or IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS/HAD COVID-19 OR ANY VARIANTS. As much as we would love to see everyone as possible, if you feel ill or have been around someone who has/had COVID-19, asymptomatic individuals could still pass the germs to another thus majorly increasing the risk of spread. We ask you to please skip attending this year.
- At this moment, all vendors, creators, guests, and attendees are to wear a cloth mask or shield face covering at their discretion to attend the event. We strongly recommend wearing a face covering though. If you cannot wear a mask, we recommend purchasing a face shield (easier to breathe with).
* Those exempt from having to wear a mask include: Babies or children younger than 2 years old and anyone who is otherwise physically unable to remove the face covering without assistance.
- 6 feet social distancing is strongly recommended when attending the event.
- Increased Sanitization and Hygiene & Hand Sanitizing Stations: The SCC will have hand sanitizer throughout the venue. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with soap and warm water.
- Occupancy Limitations of Venue MAY occur and be capped at 500 persons at one given time.
